Just confirming RA bookings. If mixed Paid/points you need only get to keep Deluxe Suite if you buy upsell for the points nights.
Paid Basic Room => Deluxe Suite (You might get higher eg Dlx Corner Suite) + Lounge Access
Points Basic Room => Keep Same Booked Room + Club Lounge
BUT
Points Booking Upsell for RA, Basic Room -> Deluxe Suite = $70++ = $80.85/night
(If you are upgraded to higher, eg Dlx Corner Suite, upsell is more)
