My wife decided to stick with what she has. The only available flight before hers that was not full was 7 hours earlier.

I checked the sources provided and they appear to be accurate. However, I recently flew to Chicago from Shanghai, and my luggage was misplaced. I had a 9:00 p.m. flight to Cincinnati. There was also an 8:00 p.m. flight. I asked to leave earlier, and it was done with no problems and no charge. Similarly, my wife's daughter flew to Beijing about 1 week ago. One of her flights was changed by 25 minutes. To protect herself, she took an earlier flight out of Cincinnati, again with no charge and no problems.

I understand my stepdaughter having 0 problems, but in light of what happened here, I am a little surprised that I was able to change my flight from Chicago to Cincinnati about 2 weeks ago.
