Hey everyone,

I am Star Alliance gold and now trying to get status on Sky Team as well... when flying Sky Team I mostly fly Delta so I want to be able to get complimentary upgrades etc...

I have heard, however, that it is and will be easier to get status on Alaska Airlines which is then usable on Delta flights. Does anyone know whether or not having elite status on Alaska airlines essentially offers you the same benefits on Delta as if you were Skymiles Platinum or Diamond? Any idea how Delta treats Alaska Airlines Elites?
