Check package prices with HK agents if you need a hotel & are returning to HKG. They can be some bargains out there - CX Holidays etc.
Has BA abandoned the Asia Miles tie up in Asia?

It used to be the case that if you were based for BAEC purposes in Asia you opened a local Asia Miles account to which Mileage was credited whilst TP's accrued to BA.

The advantage of Asiamiles was/is that you can use them for MFU across several airlines including CX, BA and AA.
