You get favored treatment even just by association with a VVIP flyer, and I don't mean the Platinums.
The minion goes how the boss tells him to go.
but once again, what does this have to do with the one pass booklet????
i can't even imagine how many 9w flights a year members of my firm must be taking....if i were to take a guess it would be in the thousands....i don't know if i would be considered a vvip flyer by the airline but by your definition i would....i take about a hundred flights a year & am the key decision maker of which airline & hotel my team uses....i have been doing this for many years & always travel in business or first when traveling for work....but when i travel on my own dime then its always in economy....in my last 7-8 years as platinum i have only received 2 upgrades in total....one was because the airline messed up my reservation & then upgraded me to make it up to me & the other was on a short 30 minute flight from pnq-bom....
i have no doubt that 9w keeps a profile of its regular customers but i still do not believe the one pass booklet would have any bearing on upgrades....
