my firm has been using the booklets since they first came out....my junior colleagues use the economy booklet on a regular basis but i have never heard any of them mention getting upgrades to business class....
Being bumped up has a lot to do with your profile and persona.
They would be more likely to bump up a business owner (decision maker) than his minions.
