We can only hope that there will be moans from US-based DL folks about the high fuel surcharges on VS...
But even so, I expect it to be tougher to get premium award seats to North America... Shame, as LAS in particular is a good backup option if there is no award space on BA.
That said, I have 20k useless skypesos from Skyteam flights forced on me by clients, which maybe I can use on a VS redemption or upgrade at some point...
The thing I would most worry about would be the JFK Clubhouse becoming overrun with DL elites...
