I ran into a similar problem today. I tried to OLCI my son for his trip to KSC.
He's got no status and he's traveling YXU - YYZ - IST - VIE - KSC in J, except for the first segment. The first segment is in Y, since there is no J on this flight. He plans to take 2 bags. AC's website tried to charge me for the extra bag and then cancelled the OLCI. The itinerary doesn not expressly say the baggage allowance, just states the general rules. The baggage allowance on a domestic Y flight would be one 23 kg bag. However, the allowance on international flights should be 2 x 32 kg. So which one is it?
Does anyone have some experience with this?
