So as I read it you're ticketed separately on two segments of the same flight. If you want to keep your seat, or claim a choice seat during the stop, you can stay on and give your BP to the FA. I guess you should do this before they start the through count, so the count isn't thrown off, and you need to time it just right: perhaps follow the last deboarders to give it to the FA in front, then return to your seat.
