So I thought I'd make use of that "Last seat Skyward Flex Reward" for Platinums. How do I do that? Shouldn't availability show once I am logged in with my customer ID and Plat status?
Also: does that award guarantee only apply to the Skywards member or also to accompanying travelers?

It only applies to the Platinum member. As soon as you try to book more than one seat you are back with the masses in terms of availability. The online system will show you much more flex availability in Biz and Economy if you are a Platinum than if you are not (no idea about I/Os though). Would be more useful of course if they had included First Class.
