It is a possibility and I was talking about 15 minutes of delay in opening the door in my example, not "sedonds" as you said.
Say in a mid-sized airport where you expect passengers to come out relatively quickly yet not small enough there is only 1 arrival flight. You see the status shows Arrived and passengers from other flights coming out (but you don't know). You would certainly start to wonder - I would!
