The fares on JR portion of the trips come out to 31540 yen or more. One week JR Pass is 28300 yen, so getting the pass makes sense.

Are you staying for more than 7 days? If so, you can buy the Suica&N'EX for the trip from NRT to Shinjuku and use the JR Pass for your long distance trips and the trip from Shinjuku to NRT (if you can pack it all in.)

You can always buy each ticket individually from the vending machine, but that involves looking up fare on the overhead board and keep change on hand. You can buy a Suica or PASMO stored value card and stop worrying about that aspect of travelling.
