I have been doing this trip the other way around several times so far this year. I typically take the red-eye out of LAX that gets into BOS at 6am, and then take the last flight out of Bos that night at 7.45. I have never paid less than $1100. I have never paid more than $1200. I book about 2 weeks out. Incidentally, I have used it to back into BAEC Gold since it is a fab tier point run. Eat before you board the LAX-BOS run. Not a peanut to be seen.
