Remember that 42 minutes was only when it was measured. All sorts of factors can affect that figure so do not rely on it 100% when making plans
All it takes for example is for one plane to be late or another to be early to mess up the waiting times.
If you are very late just go to the DL desk just outside customs and talk to the staff there and if necessary they will either rebook you there or tell you where to go if they can't.
