Nothing to do with DEN, but delays are rampant in the entire NYC area during the afternoons/evenings in the summer. I would
expect your flight to be at least 30 minutes late, and I would not be surprised if it was an hour late. On that basis, the connection is near-impossible.
2) Does anyone do the LGA to JFK via cab frequently enough to give me a time estimate they've found to be generally consistent? 3) What are the security lines like at JFK on Friday nights in the summer? Thanks!
There's nothing consistent about NYC traffic except that it can be inconsistent. That late in the evening, I'd normally expect a 20-25 minute trip. However, on a summer Friday there may be residual weekend beach traffic, and the Mets game will be a factor. So I'd budget 45 minutes.
