That's a very decent fare! Jump on it. It's not unusual to find transcons running $1,600 for a P (instant upgrade) fare, particularly not requiring a Saturday stayover, etc. ("First" in this instance indicates a discounted and restricted first, as "First Flexible" at $2,972 is refundable, unrestricted First.
