The voucher only allows for flights entirely on BA metal. My nearest BA airport is PHX. I have looked up "non-voucher" seats and there are occasionally a few but BA does apparently does not make them available for the voucher.

The strange part is that if I go to the AA site and use AA miles I can usually book business and first on the BA flights even when BA is offerring no milage seats.
