Local time of the call centre has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Agent put me on hold and checked with Supervisor. And was told of this fact that apparently even after the change, the booking must be sent to ticketing for approval and that is why it is stated as such. Of course asking them for proof is like getting blood from stone.

Well it's kinda late now and I've already flown my flight and am currently in London. Don't know when I can confirm this... On another flight to Amsterdam on Friday?
