Hello! First of all, sorry for my bad english i'm italian.
I have a question about my trip, i hope this is the right forum. Next month i leave from Rome to arrive in San Francisco, I leave from FCO and have a layover in NY (JFK)... i should arrive in JFK at Terminal 1 but my next flight is in Terminal 4! i have 3.30 between the two flights. I will fly with Alitalia (rome-ny) and Delta (ny-sfo)
My questions are:
-Am i forced to pick my luggage at jfk? and if so, should i re-check it in at terminal 4? can't they just send it from rome to sfo? (if i have to pick it up there's a baggage drop off somewhere?)
-When i arrive at terminal 4, can i go directly to the security controls? there is a fast track?
-Also, i booked my ticket from a site like expedia... they sent me an email with a e-ticket... should i print it and just show it at the check in or do i need something else(i have the esta)?
