But what is new here? On an A320 the front 12 rows or so have more legroom compared to seats further back. The legroom is determined by the row number not by the position of the curtain. Those in the front rows of ET get more legroom than others in ET if ET starts before row 12. This is certainly true on the A320 with convertible seats and it seems so with space saver seats and also with the newest pinnacle seats. Did you really think they adjusted the seat pitch when also moving the curtain?
LH did things differently. when they introduced NEK (their name for their super thin space saver seats) they made the seat pitch constant (before it was BA style with more legroom for rows towards the front). I am not sure if they have reversed this decision due to complaints (I no longer fly LH due to these awful seats).
