Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think all of the US routes (LAX, SFO, ORD, JFK) should have power outlets (US plugs) and AVOD in Y. The power outlets are usually shared across 3 seats. So for example, if your row has 3 seats, there is usually just one outlet down near where your legs are. The only issue that comes up is that sometimes there is an equipment switch and it can be the older 777 that has non-AVOD.

LAX: 747, 777 both have AVOD and power in Y
SFO: 777 AVOD and power in Y
ORD: 777, well at least the new 777 does.
JFK: Not sure right now what they have.
