I too had a 32 Inch Rimowa suitcase destroyed by FedEx on a shipment from Vail to New York. I was offered $100 compensation - because FedEx said I hadn't insure it - I made clearly the mistaken assumption tut it is there job not to destroy the cases we entrust them to send on our behalf. The case looks as if a FedEx plane literally drove over the corner of it. Although this happened in March, I have pictures etc - does anyone believe I have any additional recourse. I have already switched my modest business to UPS in protest...
