As a comparison, we stayed at the Fullerton Hotel last year and the rooms do look pretty similar to your Fullerton Bay photos. It was a lovely hotel and great location. What swung it for us was that the Fullerton Hotel was/is on the Virtuoso programme and one of the benefits there was access to their executive lounge. I think the Fullerton Bay also is on Virtuoso, but it sounds like you might have got those benefits?
