To piggyback this thread, I am going to be flying out of MXP in mid-August. Having never spent any time at Como, we're going to MXP (staying at the airport Sheraton) a day early and am planning to do a day trip up to Como the day before we fly out. We will have a car.

So, for those familiar with the area, how would you spend the day exploring?
