I was going to say $5000 is good for originating in the US. Under $4000 is good for originating in BKK. You can get cheaper still elsewhere in SE Asia, such as ex-SGN.
MU seems to have the lowest fares for confirmed Business that I've seen. Granted, it's recliners on the A346 between PVG and JFK. And you might get a Shanghai Airlines 767 to/from SE Asia, but them's the breaks for cheap fares.
