Yes, there are indeed showers in Pier Z on the way to gate Z50. I've also seen a sign near gates B30s but am sure there are others. The following is from
Frankfurt Airport's website.
"A towel, shower gel, and blow dryer are included in the price (6 euros). There are five shower facilities around the airport, open in Terminal 1 from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. and in Terminal 2 from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.
You’ll find showers in
the post-security transit zone (A and B, Level 3 and Z)
Terminal 2, the showers are behind the security checkpoint on Level 3 of Pier D."
