I recently made my first non AC Award flight booking - using UA and US from SYD to ANC and return in F.
I'd like to shift the last 2 sectors (PHX-LAX on US and LAX-SYD on UA) by a day; no change in flight numbers etc. This will involve a non toll free call to the agents from Australia, which I'm not relishing (will probably try Skype). So before I do, can I get my ducks lined up. (And lets assume the seats are available on the new day I want.)
* It was booked as a straight city to city return. The return leg has 3 sectors - ANC-PHX; PHX-LAX and LAX-SYD. Will I be allowed to change 2 of the 3 sectors (effectively creating a multi-city?)
* If so, as an SE, would a change involving 2 sectors, one with US, the other with UA still be free?
* If not, what magnitude of change fee might I expect, please?
