CLEARLY, there is something fishy going on.

CLEARLY, imo, his plans changed, and he's looking to push the cost back to Delta using any reason he can find.

AT LEAST, even if the above is not true...he sat at the wrong gate, oblivious to what was going on. If you're that incompetent, then you should be branded with a giant "M" (for "moron"), and never allowed to complain about anything.

(But, I find it VERY DIFFICULT to believe he could be that dumb to sit at the wrong gate until past his boarding time...so, I'm sticking with my logic that he's looking for a freebie he doesn't deserve.)
