So, I checked it out again yesterday.
The desert grasses on the PT side of runway have captured a fair amount of litter. Compared to DXB and AUH, it just looks plain shoddy.

Wind sheer ??? You jet jockeys have nearly 15,000 ft of runway to play with. You cross the thresh-hold at landing speed +20, should be nothing more than a wing waggle to deal with.
Dust, low cloud, rain - keeping your IFR creds up to where they should be.
Just enjoy all mother nature has to offer !
