The way to do it in practice is as follows:
(a) Login to BAEC
(b) Use the link for the AARP discount
(c) Enter the chase voucher code on checkout (no need to do this via the Chase10 link)
Nice, I verified that it works (though I didn't go as far as purchasing, I saw the discounts applied). The Chase10 discount turns out to be more restrictive... works only for BA operated flights. The AARP discount works for itineraries that have a AA component (either AA connecting flight to BA trans atlantic, or a AA operated BA codeshare flight). So Chase10 is only any good if you live near a BA served airport in USA.
