VA Aus is a premium carrier?
Anyway the problem is not the absolute ratio on base miles.
The point is how to differentiate F and cheapo Y passengers in terms of elite qualification.
For example, the multiplier for JL F is 1.5 and 0.3 for cheapo Y, thus F earns 5x than cheapo Y.
I think F earns 3x or more than cheapo Y is reasonable while essentially only 1.5x for current AAdvantage.
If AA eliminates EQM, AA F earns 5x than cheapo Y.
