I have a future booking in MMB (September) where I purchased the C ticket with the 10% discount and processed the upgrades online to F myself.

And to further complicate things, this booking and the one in September are also combined with the AARP $400 discount. The agent didn't seem bothered about that although that's the most explicit addition of 'another offer' I can imagine.

Why is nothing as straightforward as it ought to be
How can you make a booking combining the AARP and Chase discounts? I thought you had to enter the reservation site using specific links for each discount?
