5 dining - taka, wana, sara, ikhas, kora (example of exclusives incl free dining etc at yara and others)
2 excursions - taka, sara
plunge pools - sara, wella, giri? how deep? their dimensions are not small
comparative value is what matters, not price
value as in business operating expenses, not one's opinion
example - giant hotel in a row of giant hotels, with tiny rooms
opinions come in where one is weighing incremental value
i hope this is relatively clear, if not i can do long explanation

there is a reason many individuals and TAs interact with management level (which is not just GM, and to be clear i dont think TAs do much interacting with central reservations)

i dont think any other amanjunkie has said that. and there are a lot of them here. in my extremely limited experience i ran into problems with aman sri lanka, i think each time. aman seems like everyone else in that regard, and yes amanjunkies here have said basically exactly that, or even worse. every time this comes up, which isnt often, because of TAs.

TA's are to a degree helpful booking an Aman... With the properties so small, the chances of upgrades diminish.
aman in asia often have low occupancy.
