After about a 20 minute hold the agent just came back to me and offered to process the upgrade for me even though they are not supposed to.
It's all a bit confusing and I'm not sure where I stand with future bookings
Does anyone know the definitive position on this?
I have a future booking in MMB (September) where I purchased the C ticket with the 10% discount and processed the upgrades online to F myself.
And to further complicate things, this booking and the one in September are also combined with the AARP $400 discount. The agent didn't seem bothered about that although that's the most explicit addition of 'another offer' I can imagine.
Why is nothing as straightforward as it ought to be
