I am doing the same now with the OfficeMax sale, but I am paying $10.19 for each 5000 miles (no $200 cards here).
Without a sale, it may be worthwhile to you, just too close to break even for me. If you can find a grocery store that will sell you money orders, you can save the hassle of CVS and the limits of BB.
And then you can get 1000 Amazon points per 3.95 at CVS with the Amazon card, or 1000 UR or MR (or more) if you can find a gas station that will sell VR with CC.
