It can be a system glitch...I know something happened on the last statement since AP stopped giving 5%. Not for sure on other "Internet Purchases" Hopefully, not for the MR, but since I don't have AMEX charge, I can't tell.
I have been doing a lot of VR purchasing on this card (more than 7K a month) so I am interested in whether or not it will produce benefits (it is a new card for me - but it is the Old Blue) and I appreciated his data points since I am unsure it I will in fact receive benefits. So that I might consider scaling back, what would you consider non-excessive? My credit line is in excess of 35K on this card and I do not want to lose the card as a result of any perceived abuse.
