Good heavens...I knew that Disney was the #1 family attraction for Americans, but it is mind-boggling to think that Brazilians with the means to travel would go all that way just to visit an entertainment theme park! Yikes! Wouldn't they rather take their family to somewhere with some real national significance, like Washington...? Disney is not "real American culture." It is the antithesis of it, in fact, IMHO.

Epcot Center is one of the most bizarre places I have ever seen in my life. And I have traveled extensively throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Maybe it is because I am an academic and a historian. Those artificial theme parks drive me crazy.
