Not yet, but here's how things could shake out:

Assuming that new AA does not have to relinquish any Brazil frequencies, CLT-GIG and CLT-GRU make a lot more sense if flown PHL-GIG and PHL-GRU, so that's where I see new AA moving the CLT flights. Plus next year, DL has to transfer 7 more frequencies to US (new AA) that was part of the US-DL slot swap transaction. Those 7 frequencies can easily be used to start ORD-GRU service.

CLT-Brazil O&D is extremely low, and US employees have reported that many (most) of the passengers on the CLT-GIG flight are actually headed to/from MCO. As AA already flies four daily peak season MIA-GRU and a couple more MIA-GIG flights, MCO connections are much more efficient from MIA, not CLT. No need to fly all the way north to CLT if you're headed to Orlando to see the mouse.
