I was also double billed (a $2.50 award fee charge) - likely wouldn't have noticed, had I not received the following email from AS today:

We're Sorry

We apologize for the duplicate charges on your recent Alaska Airlines transaction. When your purchase on June 11 or 12, 2013 was charged by Alaska Airlines, it was mistakenly processed twice. We recognize we fell far short of our service commitment to you and we have already begun the process to refund those charges and make it right.

Alaska is sending a credit request to your bank and the credit may have already been processed to your account. In the event you need our assistance or have questions, please contact our Customer Care team so we can follow up with you. We have a team in place ready to respond and assist you.

All of us at Alaska Airlines appreciate your business and continued loyalty, and are committed to delivering the reliable service you have come to expect from us.
