Although nothing particularly surprising, given the lounge feedback from the regions is mostly positive anyway, I do feel compelled to chime in with my comments.
I really have nothing to complain about from the Manchester Terraces Lounge yesterday - great warm welcome as the front desk and all the staff were attentive and polite.
As for the catering - I tried the four different sandwiches on offer, all of them were very tasty and I was pleased to see some more interesting breads being used rather than the slightly stale crusty white or brown I have had before in some BA lounges. The Soup is a welcome addition and was very tasty.
I noticed A fellow passenger asked for a couple of glasses of Champagne which were brought over swiftly and after I had finished my drink the attendant offered to refill for me to save me getting up ^
I can understand the frustration of the removal of individually packaged items like biscuits and snacks but the quality of the jarred items is good and is stocked well. Of course you can't pick some up for the road but I suppose that is the point!
Every bottle that had been finished at the bar or jug of juice finished seemed to be replaced within a few minutes when I was watching. ^
Overall, not much to complain about - of course the loss of part of the lounge to flybe (now aspire) lounge is regretful but this has been for quite some time and nothing to do with the catering. I enjoyed the visit!
