Even with our recent slide downhill, I never thought I would live to see this.
When I was a kid, we could always call this a "free country" because, well, we could leave whenever we want, unlike those poor souls in Soviet Russia or East Germany.
Now, if a foreign country is willing to allow us to enter without a passport, our own country might stop us from doing that.
