Miles awards are no different from revenue - except if the miles come from a premier account.

Typically, baggage allowance from the MSC (ticket stock in the US) defines the whole ticket. However, if you are Business somewhere within the ticket, the originating carrier should give you that level of baggage. YMMV though - as this is a very arcane topic due to IATA and DOT rules.
