From the DL website:
Lounge Access—Complimentary access to most SkyTeam lounges worldwide when traveling in any class of service. Simply present your same-day ticket for an international or connecting SkyTeam flight. You can even invite a guest to join you in the lounge.
I would venture that since this is not the "same day", but a day later (it has passed midnight and the calender changed ... ) the STE+ benefit of lounge access for an international itinerary is not available for your connection on to MEM.
You should also keep in mind that at LAX, CZ will park at the BIT. DL uses gates out of T5 & T6. And the SC is in T5.
Of course, if you are are SC member, or purchase a 1-day pass, then you could still access the lounge.
