Couldn't have put it better myself, Parnel. Most of the aviation industry sees Milton right up there with Carty as one of the best airline CEOs in the business. He made hard choices even before 9.11, and transformed AC in an appropriate fashion for the new NAmerican marketplace. GE would not have demanded he and his team remain at AC if this were not the case. Getting Brown to come on board, is just the icing on the cake. Why do you think the same turnaround financiers who did CO, are interested in AC, with the existing management team? And why is Onex going to hang in there are as Canadian corporate partner, either through a pure Aeroplan deal, or a combination with AC as well?
