Get a cheap $50 umbrella stroller for the trip. Problem solved.
And for hiking, go for baby wearing. I've seen more than one expensive stroller get busted on hikes. Most notable this weekend and poor mom was left wrangling a toddler, two preschooler and a broken stroller.
