Swiping is getting more and more of a hassle though.

All my cards are C&P except for the main work one, and increasingly the swipe is failing for some reason - whether it's the stripe wearing out or the card reader. It took four goes on two different readers checking in at my hotel tonight (in Norway ).

Yes, even hotels are using chip and pin readers for credit card pre-authorisation.

If you have a choice, life is so much easier with C&P.
