Ah, what a sucker for punishment I am. I find myself trying to do an online checkin for Air China more than 3 years after my last post on the subject. Same result - but different error code (-40002 this time). Progress of some sort I suppose....

If anyone knows the way round what clearly looks like bad software programming I'd be grateful. If its relevant, I'm running a PC with XP and have tried Firefox, Chrome and IE.
