Strange you met not nice Italians- this is fortunately quite a rarity.
The benefit of this hotel is that it is connected by covered walkway to the airport and thus not a need for a shuttle.
I was referring to the shuttle that drops you off at the city center. And, yes, I was surprised how rude some of the Italians were on this trip. It kind of shocked me actually. My wife and I thought they made the French we encountered seem like saints. Weird.
