Dave, you are right, 80 is the Bankers Trust Boeing Customer Number as TWA used Bankers Trust to finance 2 727-180s in about 1966-67. Perhaps AA bought the rights to the TWA Boeing Customer numbers when they purchased some of the assets of TWA. If so, we should soon see an AA 777-331 (TWA customer number 31) and an AA 777-3D4 (Ozark customer number on their 727-200 orders).
