I just did a fast spending review. This year I'll spend about $13K. After deducting taxes/fees/surcharges I'm at 9K. There's about $1.5K that I'm not sure about, but it's looking like I'll be flying CX in Y+ in 2015. I had no idea how bad this is and do not have the time or budget to travel or spend any more.

Looks like I'll be taking my < $10K somewhere else.

UA insider:does the price of purchased PQM from the award accelerator count? My reading of the rules says no, which makes these things pretty worthless.
